Try Skiing In France

What does a day of skiing in France look like to the UK traveler? First off, you'll feel right at home. The Alps are quite popular with British and Irish travelers, and English is spoken almost everywhere in this area of France. While some resorts are decidedly more "French" than others, one with a British history stands out. Meribel Resort, in the heart of the famed 3 Valleys cluster of downhill areas, retains the culture of its postwar developer, Colonel Peter Lindsay. It draws a larger share of tourists from the UK than any of its neighboring enterprises.

A stay at the Maeva Les Ravines puts you in the centre of the Meribel, a large resort with many holiday lodging offshoots. The lovely traditional chalet-style architecture of France will captivate you upon arrival, as all of the buildings in the resort village are held to the same standard. Arrive at your self-catering lodging, get your bearings and then head for the hills.

Skiing in France UK Style

When we make your travel arrangements, we'll reserve your ski equipment in advance and send you a voucher. Simply exchange it at the hire desk when you get to France for the skis and/or board you desire. There's no waiting and no worrying about the gear you need being in short supply.

Your travel pack will include vouchers for Meribel lift passes for your party, which are good for all the runs at linked resorts in the 3 Valleys group. Ski all day, enjoy the bars and casino at night, and return to your comfortable lodgings to recharge for the next day. Let SkiFrance4Less arrange your winter holiday.
